Several groups are working to help animals affected by Wednesday's tornadoes. Many families lost everything in the storms, including their pets.
Someone has set up a Facebook page dedicated to reuniting families with their lost pets and announcing donation sites for pet products.
The Facebook page includes picture of pets from Madison County who were found wandering in the rubble. People who found the animals are fostering them in many instances and are looking to reunite the cats and dogs with their owners.
Dogs and cats with injuries can be found in many parts of the Tennessee Valley. Another group in the Shoals is collecting pet supplies and aiding displaced animals. Pets are Worth Saving, or PAWS, is accepting donations of pet food and other supplies at PETCO in Florence. You can also visit their website to see how to make a monetary donation.
