Kroger launches "round-up" program to help storm victims

Beginning Saturday, April 30, Kroger customers in Northern Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Eastern Tennessee can "round-up" their purchases to the nearest dollar.

The money will go toward helping provide necessities for the thousands affected by the Wednesday's storms.

"Our hearts are with our friends and neighbors in North Georgia, Huntsville, and across the Southeast who have been devastated by this horrendous natural disaster," said Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger's Atlanta Division. "Our customers and communities come together during times such as these, and we are so appreciative. Their generosity truly makes a difference in the lives of so many people."
