A judge has ordered a mental evaluation to determine if the alleged UA-Huntsville shooter is competent to stand trial.
The order was issued late Friday by judge Alan Mann.
It states Amy Bishop-Anderson must undergo an outpatient evaluation.
Bishop-Anderson is charged with capital murder and attempted murder. She's accused of shooting six people, killing three, on the UA-Huntsville campus in February of 2010.
Judge Mann has selected Dr. Doug McKeown of Dothan to conduct the evaluation.
Once the doctor has completed this evaluation, a written report will be turned over to the defense. The report will answer if Bishop-Anderson is competent to stand trial and if she was legally sane at the time of the shooting.
Judge Mann has ordered the rest of the proceedings suspended until the court receives the report.
