Two students arrested after DeKalb County drug sweep

DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A drug sweep at a DeKalb County High School leads to two arrests.

DeKalb County Sheriff's Deputies used K-9's to search Crossville High School this morning.

The dogs hit on two cars in the school parking lot.

In one, officers found marijuana, a pipe, and scales and other also had marijuana.

A 17-year-old faces charges in juvenile court.

Police also arrested 18-year-old Derick Paul-Riley Mince. He's charged with first degree unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He's lodged in DeKalb County Jail.
