Internet company offers tools for tracking "Sexting"

GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Inappropriate texting to children is a growing concern. Now technology is helping parents track such text in real time.

Internet companies such as SocialShield are now helping parents know what is sent from and to your children both on mobile phones and social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

Company officials say you give your child's phone or networking sites credentials then they do the work with alerts to you.

"Anything that's a critical alert will come to you immediately and then we have a weekly digest of alerts that you can see on a more regular basis if you want to catch up properly," said SocialShield co-founder Arad Rostampour.
