Huntsville Stars with first roster moves of season

The Milwaukee Brewers have made a couple roster moves that will impact their Double-A affiliate Huntsville Stars prior to tonight's game in Jacksonville.

RHP Robert Hinton (0-0, 0.00 ERA) has been transferred from Triple-A Nashville and will join the team on the road today. Hinton pitched in 48 games for the Stars last season, going 4-4 with a 4.15 ERA. He converted four of eight save opportunities.

With this move, the Stars have sent LHP Daniel Meadows down to Class-A Brevard County. Meadows is 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA in one game with the Stars.

Huntsville's roster currently sits at 24 active players, the Southern League limit.

The Stars return home on Wednesday, April 13 for a five-game series against the Carolina Mudcats. Single game tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling (256) 882-2562 or stopping by the ticket office at Joe Davis Stadium. For more information, visit www.huntsvillestars.com!
