Huntsville, Ala. ---- The Director of Athletics at Alabama A&M University has announced the onset of major changes in its men's basketball program.
While AD Betty K. Austin did not issue an effective date, she noted that the changes affect the 25-year tenure of head men's basketball coach L. Vann Pettaway.
An A&M alum, Pettaway amassed a record that includes 453 wins and 279 losses. He was the longest tenured men's basketball coach in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
AD Austin expresses her sincere appreciation to Coach Pettaway and his staff for their years of hard work and dedication to Alabama A&M.
