Good Morning!
Preliminary estimates show there were more tornadoes in a single day last week than any other day in history. We'll take a look at how many tornadoes touched down in that 24-hour period.
More help is needed for those affected by last week's storms. Tonya Terry is hosting a Blood Drive this Thursday, May 5th at the LifeSouth Blood Center from 12:30-6:30pm. It's a big beautiful thing to save a life and help those storm victims!
Governor Robert Bentley will give a statewide address on the storms during a joint legislative session today. Keep your TV tuned to WSFA 12 News to watch the address live at 6pm.
And more storms are on the way, but NOTHING like what we saw last week. Watch Meteorologist Josh Johnson for today's weather and the forecast for the next 7 days.
The news, sports and weather to start your day on Today in Alabama this morning from 5-7am! See you then!
