Baseball Lions Earn Rankings

FLORENCE -- With a 16-7 overall record and coming off a Gulf South Conference series win over Alabama-Huntsville, the University of North Alabama baseball team is prominently ranked in both region and national polls.

 

UNA is ranked second in the NCAA Division II South Region by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association behind only GSC East Division rival West Florida.

 

The Lions are ranked 18th nationally by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and are the second highest ranked GSC squad.

 

UNA plays Arkansas Tech at USA Stadium in Millington, Tenn., on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
