Kenny Gabriel was named co-SEC Player of the Week after he averaged 20.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in wins over Ole Miss and LSU. Gabriel notched his first career double-double against an SEC team with game-highs of 16 points and 11 rebounds at LSU. He scored 10 straight points to keep the Tigers within striking distance in the first half and then drilled a jumper with 1:45 left to give Auburn a six point lead. Gabriel scored a career-high 24 points on 3-of-5 3-pointers and had seven rebounds as Auburn erased a 20-point deficit to defeat Ole Miss 76-73. It was the second largest comeback in school history.
