UA-Huntsville shooting suspect retains lawyer for civil case

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Amy Bishop Anderson retained legal representation for one of the civil lawsuits filed in the wake of the UA-Huntsville shootings.

Bishop is accused of shooting six people during a faculty meeting last February at the Huntsville campus. Three people died in the attack.

Two survivors, Stephanie Monticciolo and Dr. Joseph Leheay, filed a civil lawsuit against bishop.

Attorneys Sam Ingram and Brian Mosholder out of Montgomery have signed on to represent Bishop in this case.
