MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A Marshall County man pleaded not guilty to killing his wife who earlier this year had been promoted to Alabama's district manager for the U.S. Postal Service.

57-year-old Sherwin Gaines Wigley entered his plea in a waiver at an arraignment hearing Monday morning.

Wigley is charged with the June 29th shooting death of 46-year-old Lori Wigley at their Douglas home.

No trial date has been set.
