HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - The man accused of shooting a Huntsville gymnastics teacher has filed a motion for a mental evaluation.
Tavares Fletcher changed his guilty plea to not guilty back in October.
His lawyer says Fletcher didn't fully understand all of his rights when he pleaded guilty in August.
He's now set to go to trial on January 24th.
He's accused of shooting teacher Meg Hall during a robbery in 2009.
