Armed man robs hotel in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - An armed man robbed the La Quinta Hotel on University Drive in Huntsville.

It happened around eleven last night.  He walked in with a gun and demanded money from the clerk.  After getting an undisclosed amount of cash he ran away.

Police could not get an accurate description of the man.  Huntsville policed used their K-9 units to try and track down the robber, but didn't find him.  They continued to search through the morning.  If you have any information on the robbery, call Huntsville Police at 256-722-7100.
