For those that are staying at home, you're missing some wild baseball. For the 4th time in the last five nights the Stars have gone to extra innings. Tonight showcased a few clutch plays in extra innings such as a Chris Cody single, a Brett Lawrie triple and a Dayton Buller walk-off two run shot in the bottom of the 13th to drop Carolina, 5-3. Cody, by the way, was the pitcher and stood his ground to help the cause.
Same two teams wrap up the home stand tomorrow night at 7:00 pm. Every Friday is a AAA Triple Play: get three tickets for the price of one with your AAA membership card. Tomorrow is also our last Fritos Family Friday. Randomly selected fans will participate in everything from an honorary first pitch to on-field contests to an on-air interview. You can't be a part of it if you're staying at home. All fans exiting the ballpark tomorrow night after the game will receive a free bag of Fritos Corn Chips.
The Stars remain one game out of first place as the Tennessee Smokies won again tonight.
It's going to be a wild month, you may as well be a part of it right here at Joe Davis Stadium. There is only one month left in the season. Don't miss the Stars run to the playoffs.
