Two Albertville men killed in tower collapse

ANNISTON, AL (WAFF)- Two Albertville men were killed at Fort Mcclellan in Calhoun County on Thursday.

Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown said 37-year-old Barry Sloan was killed while he was on a tower that collapsed.

The preliminary investigation say that a truck hit a guy-wire, causing the tower to collapse.

41-year-old Jonce Hubbard was also injured. He was taken to UAB hospital where he died while in surgery.

Several agencies are investigating.
