ALBERTVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Marshall County Sheriff's deputies arrested 57-year-old Sherwin Gaines Wigley of Albertville for the murder of his wife.
Authorities said Wigley shot his wife, 46-year-old Lori Wigley, and then shot himself at their home in the Horton community on June 29. Lori Wigley died at the scene and Sherwin Wigley was taken to the hospital in intensive care.
Sherwin Wigley was charged with murder Wednesday after he was released from the hospital. He is being held in the Marshall County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
