17-year-old dead after shooting

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - A fight involving several people left one dead and one in jail.

It happened at 12:30 Sunday morning at a parking lot across the street from Club Infinity, located at 111 Spacegate Drive.

Sgt. Mark Roberts said 22-year-old Steven Craig Seay took out a gun during the fight and shot 17-year-old James Price.

Sgt. Roberts said Price was rushed to Huntsville Hospital where he later died.

Seay was charged with murder. He is currently in Metro Jail on $60,000 bond.

Darryl Thomas, manager of Infinity said the venue is not a teen club, but it was being rented out for a teen party Saturday night.

Thomas said none of the people involved in the fight were at the teen party, they were all people who couldn't get in because it was too full.

He said the venue always has full security at all of their events for the actual venue.
