WILSON, N.C. - Despite trimming nine strokes off their opening day total, the University of North Alabama baseball team could pick up just two spots and stands tied for 10th at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Super Regional. UNA shot a first-round 294 but had a second round 285 total. Jake Greer led the run for UNA Tuesday with a 69, and Tyler Ekenberg shot a 70.
Lynn and Barry are tied for first at four-under-par. UNA is 15 strokes off that pace but is only five shots out of sixth place, with the top six finishers in the region advancing to the Division II National Championship Tournament. Brett Munson remains UNA's top individual, but his second round 72 and 143 total has him tied for 25th. Despite his 69, Greer is tied for 77th with a 150 total after shooting 81 on Monday.
