Wednesday was a great day for the Huntsville Stars. First the home team had there 2010 home opener again's the Jacksonville Sun, but off the field there was some big time news.
Huntsville Stars owner Miles Prentice announced on WAFF 48 news 5pm edition that the Stars signed a new five year contract extension to stay in Huntsville. The new lease agreement means there will be Double A baseball in the rocket city for some time to come.
Miles Prentice also told WAFF 48 Sports that he hopes to work with Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle in the near future to help remodel Joe Davis Stadium
