A native of Colorado, Dr. McKee attended the University of Alabama and went on to receive his bachelor's degree in Biology from DePaul University. While pursuing his degree, he participated in intramural sports and was employed full-time in a podiatrist's office.
Dr. McKee received his doctorate from Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine, where he participated in intramural sports. In addition, he was a member of the Journal Group, and also served as president of the Note Group and treasurer of Phi Alpha PI. During this period, he was employed part-time at a podiatrist's office.
Dr. McKee has been in private practice since 1988. He is licensed in Alabama and is a member of the American Institute of Foot Medicine. He is a Diplomat on the National Board of Podiatry Examiners. Dr. McKee is also a member of the American Board of Podiatric Specialties. He is a member of the Practice Management Institute and is board-certified in podiatric medicine and podiatric surgery.
