Vols advance to Elite Eight for first time in school history

For the first time in program history the Tennessee Volunteers head to the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight beating Ohio State 76-73.

Three players scored in double figures for the Volunteers led by Wayne Chism's 22 points and 11 rebounds. Tennessee trailed 42-39 at the half, but outscored the Vols 37-31 in the 2nd half.

Tennessee will play in the Midwest Regional final in St Louis against Michigan State for a chance to play in the Final Four in two weeks.
