UAH Officials: Bishop suspended without pay

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Accused murderer, UA-Huntsville Professor Dr. Amy Bishop Anderson, was suspended without pay on Friday February 12 say University officials.

Bishop faces charges of capital murder and attempted murder after she is accused of shooting six fellow professors in a Biology department faculty meeting at UAH's Shelby Center Friday February 12.

Three professors died from the shooting, while three others were in the hospital.

UAH President David Williams states that, "The university is moving forward with the process of terminating her (Bishop's) employment."

The injured professors are receiving all of their pay.
