Two arrested in Boaz for Meth manufacturing

BOAZ, AL (WAFF) - Two men are in custody and a third suspect is being sought after a meth lab bust in Boaz.

Police arrested Joshua Brandon Stone, 23) and Jerry Lee Scott Johnson, 34, after a call about a possible meth lab on 510 Elm Street.

Officers found several items used in meth production, including Ephedrine, Coleman Fuel, Lithium batteries, drain cleaner, ammonium nitrate, manufactured drug and other items in the home.

Stone and Johnson were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Both men were being held in the Boaz City Jail pending warrants being obtained by police.

The Marshall County Drug Enforcement Unit was called in to dispose of the lab.
