FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The director of Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Arkansas is helping counsel faculty and staff at the University of Alabama-Huntsville.
Jonathan Perry left Tuesday for the Alabama university where a faculty member is accused of shooting and killing three fellow teachers and wounding three others earlier this month. He is due back Saturday.
Perry also counseled at the University of Northern Illinois after a student shot and killed five other students and himself in 2008. He was part of a team of counselors who went to Virginia Tech following a mass shooting there and was at UA at the time of a murder-suicide in 2000.
