MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) – Swine Flu is still making people sick in Alabama according to the State Health Department.

The outbreak has been reduced from being classified as widespread to regional.

The disease is also blamed for raising the death toll in Alabama to 43 with the latest victim being a 55-year-old Montgomery man.

The  State Health Department is working to wrap up the final school vaccination clinics by the end of February.

Between 10-20% of Alabamians have been vaccinated for the H1N1 virus so far.

The vaccine is more plentiful now that Alabama has received about 1 ½ million doses.
