Decatur woman arrested for stealing a debit card

On Thursday, January 14th, Kerri Hall called the Decatur Police Department and reported her debit card stolen. Her card was used to make multiple fraudulent transactions within the city limits of Decatur.

Video surveillance was obtained of the suspect using the stolen card. Detective Robert Peete released a still photograph to the media.

With the help of the media, the suspect was identified as twenty year old Patricia Gail Kelley. Felony warrants were obtained for Kelley for fraudulent use of a debit card.

Detectives Peete and Lyon, with assistance of Officer Aldridge, located Kelley and took her into custody. She was booked into the Decatur City Jail on 3 counts of fraudulent use of a debit card.

She is awaiting to be transferred to the  Morgan County Jail where she will be held on a $7,500 bond.
