Dothan-Club Shooting

DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - A Dothan man has been charged with multiple counts of felony assault in a holiday shooting at a downtown nightclub.

Captain. Antonio Gonzalez said investigators arrested 22-year-old Anthony Deshaune Smith and took him to the Houston County Jail where he was held on a $15,000 bond.

Three people were wounded in the shooting that started late Christmas night and continued into the early morning hours of Dec. 26.

Gonzalez said none of the victims suffered life threatening injuries.

He said a confrontation in the club between Smith and at least one other person led to the shooting and the victims were not the intended targets.
