3 arrested in Grant meth bust

TUSCUMBIA, AL (WAFF) - Three people were arrested Monday night after Marshall County sheriff's deputies found a meth lab inside a Grant home.

According to a statement from the sheriff's department, deputies received a tip that meth was being produced at a residence on Rice Road.

"When deputies arrived, the three occupants of the home were found in possession of a active meth lab inside the home. We received an anonymous tip about the activities at that home, which led deputies there last night. The lab was seized and three arrests were made," said Sheriff Scott Walls.

Terry Wayne Loudermilk, 38, Joni Brown Buchanan, 31, and John Robert Smith, 40, were each charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The three were jailed under $6,000 bond.
