Jury finds Fulwise guilty of capital murder

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - The jury has delivered a guilty verdict in the Derrick Fulwise capital murder trial.

He was charged with the 2004 murder of Wally Vess Junior.

The family has been waiting five years for closure on this trial.

The trial began Tuesday and the jury came back only hours after being charged on Friday.

Fulwise was automatically sentenced to life in prison without parole.
