DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -Neighbors are planning a celebration.  A very public welcome home for 16 year old Molly Moses.

Grandmother Norma Williams says, "I just can't believe she's coming home. You know this is what we've lived for."

Several new changes at her home will help her maneuver in a wheelchair. Molly's homecoming is planned for 3:30 Monday afternoon. Just in time for her school mates to attend, "I think of her every minute. I dream about her at night."  And so do neighbors along Plaza street.

Betty Holmes can hardly contain herself, "We are just excited to know our neighborhood can do something to help her and we're having signs made and baskets of goodies and we're just all excited."

Hansel Peek lives near the family, "I hope she gets along alright, that's the main thing."

Her grandmother says she's thrilled over community reaction, "We just can not believe how the community has reacted. We just can't say thank you enough."

Williams says with Thanksgiving around the country, she plans on cooking her grand daughter's favorite noodles. It will be a time to truly give thanks.
