DECATUR, AL (WAFF) - Decatur police did not have to go far to make an arrest in a forgery case.  Their suspect was already in jail on unrelated charges.

Police subsequently charged Tracy Brown Maze with two counts of forgery in the second degree.

Maze is charged with stealing another woman's checks, forging them and then cashing them within the city limits of Decatur

Maze was transferred to the Morgan County jail on a $5,000 bond on the new charges.
