MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) - The Alabama Department of Corrections will comply with a State Supreme Court ruling to turn over records in the Farron Barksdale case.
Corrections officials are setting up procedures to comply with the orders to turn records surrounding Barksdale's death over to his family.
Barksdale died about ten day after he'd been transferred to Kilby Correctional Facility to begin serving his sentence for killing two Athens police officers in 2004.
Barksdale pleaded guilty to the killings in 2007.
