The jury has returned with a verdict in the case of former Franklin County D.A. accused of fondling 5 men while on the job. Guilty on all 5 counts.
John Pilati said, "I'm extremely disappointed in they outcome of the case today, I saw the case differently then the jury did."
Pilati is now facing a maximum of 5 years in prison when he is sentenced on January 16th. None of the victims were present for the verdict.
Pilati's lawyer is disappointed with the outcome. Bruce Gardner said, "I never thought Mr. Pilati would be indicted on all counts for the indictment." Gardner did say they plan to appeal.
The jury only took 4 hours to convict Pilati.
Pilati said, "I decided many years ago to get in a profession and a court system that I have a lot of faith in." Now that court system has convicted him of 5 misdemeanors.
