A woman was found dead at her home on Main Street in Ardmore, Tennessee.

State and local investigators are on the scene working to determine if she was murdered.

TBI and local investigators have collected clothing among other pieces of evidence that might give them clues as to how Peggy Jiles died.

Jiles' body was found at her home on Main Street in Ardmore around 7:30 this morning.

Police were called when Jiles didn't show up for work at WAAY 31 News in Huntsville where she worked in the traffic department.

Investigators spent a lot of time on the back porch of the house taking pictures.

They confirmed that her body was burned, but they are not calling that the cause of her death.

They say an autopsy will have to determine that.

Neighbors say Jiles did not live alone.

Investigators say they have spoken with the man she lived with today.

We will have the latest on this investigation tonight at ten.
