HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Someone stole some tools from a business, but we're not talking about hammers and nails here.
We're talking about tens of thousands of dollars worth of industrial equipment.
Speaking of big bucks, here's your chance to make some in this week's WAFF 48 Crime Stoppers.
These aren't your "Joe Average, Mr. Do-it-yourselfer" welding machines.
They're industrial tools used at "P&T Trailer Sales" on Highway 53 in Huntsville.
The weekend of May 2nd, someone stole more than 30-thousand dollars worth of these machines and other tools.
For owner Paul Pencola, it was like a kick in the gut.
"You work so hard and try to make a living for your family and then somebody comes in and steals it," said Pencola.
These tools are crucial to his business.
"We couldn't afford to replace them all. We replaced as many as we could to to get by right now," said Pencola.
He's asking an obvious question, who would have the knowledge and the desire to steal tools like these?
He believes it could be a former employee.
Somebody had the knowledge to hide from the traffic on Highway 53, park on the side and walk to the back of the building.
That's where they cut their way through.
Pencola hopes he can recover at least some of the tools.
That's why he's offering a thousand dollar reward.
That's in addition to the already-up to one thousand dollars offered by Crime Stoppers.
So if your anonymous tips to 53-Crime lead to an arrest, you could be two thousand dollars richer.
Thanks to your tips to 53-Crime, Daniel Eugene Bolden has been arrested on a theft of property charge.
Dennis James Martin Teague saved you a phone call.
He turned himself in on a burglary charge.
Shawn Robert Marshall is still on the loose for allegedly breaking into a local business.
Police need your help finding Joseph Gregory Bezotte for allegedly failing to return a rental vehicle.
Ryan Peavy is wanted on charges of domestic violence, criminal mischief and reckless endangerment.
And Sherman Lee Campbell is still on the run, facing an arson charge.
