Steady rain will continue tonight, through the Monday morning commute, and into the afternoon. Due to extensive cloud cover, temperatures will not move all that much…Starting Monday morning in the low 40s and only rising to the mid 40s by afternoon.
Showers will finally begin tapering off from west to east by Monday afternoon. An additional 1-2" of rain is possible on top of the already saturated grounds. As colder air moves in Monday evening, if enough moisture is leftover, it is possible to see a brief window of sleet and snow flurries late Monday into Tuesday morning. No accumulation or travel problems are anticipated.
The middle and 2nd half of the work week look dry and cool. Our next chance for rain arrives late Friday into next weekend.
Have a great evening!
