A weak cold front is currently making its way across the region. Out ahead of this, we'll see a few storms fire up towards the afternoon hours. The best chance for rain today will be south of the Tennessee River. Highs today will be in the lower 80s and slightly cooler and drier air moves in.
Tonight will be much more comfortable with overnight lows in the low to middle 60s. Friday and Saturday will be hot in the low 90s, with plenty of sunshine, but the humidity should remain bearable.
By Sunday, the humidity creeps back in as temperatures soar into the low to mid 90s ahead of our next weather maker. Shower and storm chances will increase late Sunday afternoon out ahead of a strong cold front. Storms will be capable of strong gusty winds and torrential rain. Most of the rain on Monday should be on the way out by the afternoon with highs in the lower 80s.
Much cooler weather will move in for Tuesday and Wednesday with lows in the middle to upper 50s and highs in the lower 80s.
