Madison County flu shot schedule

Madison County Commission Flu Shot Clinics are scheduled for mid-October into first week of November.

Flu-shots will be given free of charge to any citizen 6 months of age and older.

The clinic locations, date and time are as follows:

Wednesday, October 10

9 am to Noon - District Two, Bob Jones High School Cafeteria, 650 Hughes Road, Madison

Thursday, October 11

8:30 to Noon - District One Office, 9457 Moores Mill Road, New Market

2 pm to 4 pm Bobo Fire Station, 7982 Old Railroad Bed Road, Bobo

Wednesday, October 17

9 am until noon - District Four, Monrovia Recreation Center, 1962 Jeff Road

Thursday, October 18

9 am to Noon - District Three East Office, 4273 Highway 72 East, Brownsboro

Wednesday, October 24

9 am to Noon - District Three Office, 161 Walnut Street, New Hope

Thursday, November 8

9 am to Noon - District Six, Northwest Community Learning Center, 3404-A Blue Spring Road

These flu shots are offered free to all citizens on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Madison County Commission has notified its employees these shots are available at no cost to them and to all family members.

Seniors are asked to bring their Medicare card for state reimbursement for the cost of the vaccine.

    An incarcerated Lawrence County man who walked off a work detail earlier this month has been captured in Colorado.  The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office reportedly took Austen Larry Williams, 28, into custody on Saturday.
