The man accused of shooting and killing a Huntsville Police officer faced a judge this morning, and a new trial date was set.
Benito Albarran appeared in Judge Karen Hall's courtroom at 9:30 a.m.
Albarran is charged with capital murder in connection with the death of Officer Daniel Golden.
The shooting happened in August 2005 while Golden was responding to a domestic dispute.
During today's preliminary hearing, Judge Hall decided that Albarran's trial will take place on April 14, 2008.
