Updated:

Rain is moving through the Heart of the Valley this morning.  Some sleet or snow may mix with the rain in the Shoals this morning.  We will begin drying out this afternoon with only a few flurries possible later today.  Temperatures will be on the way down behind a cold front today.  We'll drop through the 30s today and will likely be below freezing by early this evening.  A west/northwest wind around 10-20 mph will make it feel like it's in the 20s.  Skies will remain mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the low 20s.  We expect to see some sunshine for the first time in a week tomorrow.  It will stay cold though with highs in the mid 30s.  Clouds return on Thursday with highs staying in the 30s.  By Thursday night into Friday we'll be tracking our next storm system to our south.  With cold air in place we do expect to see some light snow as we end the week.  Right now accumulations would be on the light side but if the storm track is farther to the north more significant snow could fall.  Temperatures will remain cold Friday with highs only in the mid 30s.  Have a great Tuesday!
