Mostly cloudy skies this afternoon will allow a few peeks of sunshine through, just enough to warm temperatures into the lower 70s. Isolated rain showers are possible through the evening commute and into the later evening. Overnight low temperatures will fall into the low to middle 50s with bands of heavier rainfall moving in from the west after the midnight hour. Thursday looks to be a bit of a washout with rain showers expected through the day and overcast skies, highs will struggle to make it into the lower 60s. Showers will end by late Thursday night into Friday morning with skies clearing out, highs Friday will be back into the lower 70s.
A gorgeous April weekend is ahead with abundant sunshine and highs in the middle 70s Saturday and lower 80s by Sunday. If you are headed to the NASCAR race at Talladega Sunday, temperatures will be even warmer and be sure to stay hydrated and have the SPF around. The longer term trend is a warmer one with highs staying in the 70s and 80s.
