Huntsville woman arrested for Galaxy Way shooting

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Police arrested 34-year-old Veronica L. Bass of Huntsville for the shooting death of Willie Lee Bradford.

Bradford was found shot to death in apartment 705 at Twickenham Village Apartments Tuesday morning. Officers say Bass reported finding the body and alerted police to the crime.

Bass was charged with murder and held in the city jail.

The body was transported from the scene to forensics for an autopsy. 

No word yet on a motive.
