FAYETTEVILLE, TN (WAFF) - A judge ruled that the trial for Jacob Shaffer will be held in Lincoln County.
Judge Crigler also ruled the jurors will be picked from outside of the county.
On October 26th, the judge will decide from which county the jury will be selected.
Judge Crigler also set October 5th and November 2nd as special hearing dates in the case.
Shaffer is accused of killing his estranged wife, three of her family members and a teenage neighbor in Fayetteville, Tennessee nearly a year ago.
