Jackson County, AL -
JACKSON, AL (WAFF) - A Jackson County man has been arrested for torture and two counts of willful abuse of a child under the age of 18.
Authorities say the charges involve his two daughters who are one and two-years-old.
The children's mother made the complaint against 29-year-old Sherman Nathaniel McBryar Thursday afternoon, and he was then arrested by deputies.
The children are currently in the care of a family member of the mother and are said to be okay at this time.
