BIRMINGHAM, AL (WAFF) – Artur Davis won a landslide of Alabama newspaper endorsements on Sunday in the race for Governor.
Davis received endorsements from seven papers from across the state, all calling him the best choice for Democrats for the June 1st primary election.
Davis earned the support of The Birmingham News, The Montgomery Advertiser, The Selma Times-Journal, The Tuscaloosa News, The Decatur Daily, The Times Daily and The Gadsden Times.
Ron Sparks is Davis' opponent on the Democratic ticket for the primary election.
