HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Country Cottage in Huntsville had a landmark day when they received the first perfect survey score from the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH). The score was the first in history for the ADPH.
All three buildings of Country Cottage were inspected. The zero-deficiency score just goes to show how much hard work and dedication the staff puts in every day.
"Our team works very hard to ensure that our residents receive the quality of care they need to be happy and healthy in their Cottage home and I am so proud of what they have accomplished," said Diane Spiva, RN, BSN, MSNA, Managing Director at Country Cottage.
"We are all so thrilled about the perfect survey score. At the end of the day it always comes down to making sure our residents are loved and cared for," she added.
Cottage Senior Living, the management company that oversees the operations of Country Cottage, have donated $1,000 to the staff fund for a party in celebration of this historic accomplishment.
