Former Huntsville school board member dies at 84

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - A long serving former member of the Huntsville school board has died.

James Dawson served on the board for nearly two decades. Dawson was elected in 1988 and resigned in 2008 for health reasons.

Dawson was 84 years old.
