SCOTTSBORO, AL (WAFF) - A body is discovered floating in the Tennessee River in Scottsboro.
It's believed to be one of three people killed when a boat capsized last week in Marion county, Tennessee, which is more than 30 miles away.
A muskrat trapper noticed the body near the B.B. Comer Bridge on Sunday.
Five people were on the boat that capsized after it got too close to a dam. Two passengers made it to shore.
The body found in Jackson County is identified as a 32-year-old man from Dalton, Georgia.
Jackson County Coroner John David Jordan said, "We looked on the map yesterday, and it was about 33-35 miles by river. Which is really unusual for a body to travel that far, but it does happen. They were expecting to find all the bodies near the dam, evidently he got in the current and moved very rampantly."
All of the bodies have been recovered. The accident is under investigation.
