HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)-  The Huntsville Times passed out its Thanksgiving edition early.

People were able to pick up the paper at the Huntsville Times building on Memorial Parkway Wednesday night.

At three and a half pounds, it's the largest Thanksgiving issue ever, and it's packed with coupons, special offers and ads.

It's a sneak peek of what you can get your hands on for Black Friday.

"They wanted to know if they could get it early," said Huntsville Times publisher Bob Ludwig.  "They wanted to plot out what they were going to do Friday morning, and then there some places that actually had sales on Thursday."

At first glance, you'll see the biggest deals go to electronics. TV's, GPS devices, and cameras top the list.  Another steal is on toy prices.

You'll also see this year a new tactic from retailers to entice shoppers.  Instead of 30, 40 or 50% off ads, most retailers decided to show the actual dollar amount markdown.

The Huntsville Time's Thanksgiving edition is something post-Thanksgiving shoppers can go crazy for.

You can pick one up for $1.50.
