HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - A woman went shopping at a Hampton Cove store, but a crook did his shopping in the parking lot of that store.
Tops on his shopping list was that woman's purse.
Here's more on his shady shopping spree in this week's WAFF 48 Crime Stoppers.
You can see the suspect on surveillance video at the Wal-Mart Super Center in Hampton Cove.
Police say this was one of many stops the thief made on Wednesday, October 21st.
He paid with a credit card and walked out.
He was driving a red SUV, possibly an Isuzu.
But he wasn't really shopping, he was stealing.
His crime spree didn't start at the Wal-Mart.
It started on Airport Road where the victim was doing some shopping at T.J. Maxx.
She was putting some items in her vehicle when a guy in a parked car nearby grabbed her purse.
I think it's safe to say this guy wasn't looking to make a fashion statement.
He was less concerned with the purse, and more concerned with the plastic inside.
Police say he used the victim's credit card at several stores around town, swiping money from her account with every"swipe" of that stolen card.
He's described as a white man, about 5-10, 180 pounds.
He was wearing blue jeans, and a black t-shirt with the initials "DC" underneath a jacket.
Hopefully we can stamp the letters "A-R-R-E-S-T-E-D" on him.
If you know who he is, you could be making a nice bank deposit.
Call 53-crime.
If your anonymous information leads to his arrest, you'll be eligible for up to a thousand dollars.
Thanks to your tips, our naughty list is shrinking.
Shelia Renea Tucker Brown has been arrested for aggravated child abuse.
Quinton Lamarce Minor has turned himself in for allegedly pulling a handgun on his victim and stealing a cell phone.
Paul Eugene Moore also turned himself in for allegedly hitting his victim, knocking them unconscious.
We still need your help finding Tanzie Crockett Terrell Sanders for possession of a controlled substance.
And Nakia Jermaine Nelson is still on the loose, charged with assault.
