HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Some Madison County students are learning about giving back to the community.
Students from the Primrose Schools in Madison and Huntsville presented a $5,000 check to the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.
The students raised the money through their helping hands project which included various fundraisers.
"Our goal is to raise awareness of children in terms of being better citizens of tomorrow and how they can give back to the community," said director Martha Ginn.
The money donated will go towards the library's Great Big Book Bash event which is a fundraiser for their summer reading program.
